Quick Thanksgiving cards

Sorry, I'm a bit late for this holiday! But I'm finally uploading the 'quick and easy' cards I  made for Thanksgiving. All the card bases were simply notecards that had been picked up at Michaels from the 'value' bins. (Get them when they go on clearance during the design changeovers. Even cheaper.)
Sorry about this first photo, I was in a hurry.

These were made with some embellishments that were actually part of a kids' Thanksgiving tic-tac-toe set bought from JoAnn in the kids' crafts dollar bins. It came with 10 each chipboard pumpkins and turkeys. I used a leaf and a swirl punch for the pumpkins and quickly cut out a banner. (I used the corner of a square punch for the fishtail.)

This card was quick and easy enough by simply embellishing with a turkey sticker.

Especially for you card

Here's a simple yet pretty card my friend Carolyn made for me with my Everyday Greetings stamp set.

stamping on a curve

I used a premade card base that has a circular tab which needed a little something. By putting my clear block over the area I wanted to stamp, I was able to conform the stamp to the shape I needed before stamping.

Nautical cards...

Background is embossed with an anchor folder from Lifestyle Crafts, lighthouse is from Sizzix, spellbinders lacy ovals. (I traced the inside of the oval and cut it out by hand - my ovals were too big or too small to fit how I wanted it to.)

Using stamps on a layout

Most of the word stamp in the Tell the Story stamp set were designed to fit inside the arrow. You can stamp the arrow and then the word inside, or vice versa. Click on photo to view larger.

A look at a third release...

This is what I have next in the works.
Right now, the state stamps are kind of iffy because I need enough people who want to buy them. So if you would really like to buy a set, shoot me an email (or comment here) by Sept. 20. Thanks!
